Dr. Barry Jaffin

Doctor Barry Jaffin graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his training in Internal Medicine in 1984 and GI fellowship in 1986. Dr. Jaffin is intimately involved in teaching Gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine since 1986. His main interests involve motility disorders of the esophagus, stomach, and colon. Dr. Jaffin is able to perform esophageal, ano-rectal manometry in addition to 24hr pH/Impedance testing and pudendal nerve studies in the office. Dr. Jaffin’s other major interest includes caring for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and he has lectured for the CCFA.
